Ukrainian Artist Remembers Those Lost in Russian Invasion in Heartbreaking “War Notes”
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, Ukrainian artist Olga Wilson has been keeping what she calls “war notes.” Although it conjures up the idea of journal entries, Wilson's notes are actually drawings and short explanations (shared as captions) on her Instagram account. Updated nearly every day since the beginning of March, her digital drawings provide a heartbreaking account of what is happening in her country.

Ukraine President Attends Virtual Meeting with G7 Leaders
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is meeting virtually Sunday with the Group of 7 leaders, who head the world’s largest economies.
The leaders of Britain, Canada, France, Italy, Japan, Germany and the United States are meeting with the Ukrainian leader to show their support for Ukraine as it fights off a Russian invasion that began in February. The G-7 has pledged billions of dollars in military aid to Ukraine.

Ukraine war: Children in Mariupol 'drank rainwater from puddles'
It wasn't just the basics of water and food, there was no toilet, shower or electricity in their refuge from bombs.
Nataliia now wants her childhood friend with her in the sanctuary of Wales.
"We had a small bowl [of soup] for three kids once per day," explained Yuliia. "And one glass of water for three kids to clean themselves."
